Platelet Rich Plasma.
Regenerative therapy from your own biology.

The treatment that uses nothing but you. No synthetic product, no foreign material, just growth factors concentrated from your own blood and returned to where your body needs help repairing. It's the most medical thing on our menu, and for the right concern, one of the most quietly powerful.
There's nothing foreign in it.
Because PRP comes from your own blood, there's no product to react to and no question of what's in it. For people wary of injectables, that changes the conversation.
It rebuilds slowly, and lasts.
This isn't an instant result. PRP stimulates your own repair over months, so the improvement is gradual and comes from real tissue change, not a temporary fill.
It goes where you need it.
Thinning hair at the part line. Crepey under-eyes makeup can't fix. Skin that's lost its bounce. PRP is also available for select body applications such as body skin rejuvenation, scarring, and supportive use in certain soft-tissue concerns, on a consultation basis. If a body indication is on your mind, ask; we will tell you plainly whether PRP is the right tool for it, or whether something else fits better.
The mechanism, briefly. We draw a small amount of your blood and spin it in a centrifuge, which separates the platelets and their growth factors from the rest. That concentrated plasma is then injected or micro-channeled into the treatment area, where it signals your body to repair and regenerate over the following months.
Your own biology,
put to work.
PRP doesn't add anything to you. It concentrates something you already make and asks your body to do what it already knows how.

From your arm to the treatment area.
One appointment, four quiet steps, and no product that didn't come from you.
A small blood draw.
The same as any routine lab draw, a tube or two, taken in the room.
Concentrated.
We spin it in our centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma from everything else. This is why in-house processing and sterile technique matter.
Returned to you.
The plasma is injected or channeled into the scalp, under-eye, or skin, depending on your concern.
Repair, over months.
Your body responds to the growth factors by rebuilding. The result is gradual, which is how you know it's real.

Licensed medical hands.
The blood draw, processing, and application are performed by a licensed medical provider, from needle to needle, start to finish.
In-house centrifuge processing with sterile technique.
Your blood is drawn, spun, and reintroduced in the same room, in a closed system. It never leaves your sight.
FDA-cleared PRP system.
We use a professional, FDA-cleared kit and a validated processing protocol, with no improvised tubes or hobbyist equipment.
Discretion.
Our Rockville practice is built for privacy: scheduled appointments, private treatment rooms.

Blood drawn, spun, and returned to the target area. Repair signaling begins quietly.
Session 2
Builds on the first pass while collagen production is ramping.
Session 3
The consolidating pass. Most visible change arrives after this one.
Maintenance
Optional, based on how your tissue responds.
Assessment.
We confirm PRP is right for your concern, and are honest if your hair loss is too advanced for it to help.
The draw and the spin.
A small blood draw, then a few minutes in the centrifuge while we prepare the area.
Placement.
Injected or micro-channeled into the scalp, under-eye, or skin. Numbing is used where needed.
Home the same day.
Mild redness or tenderness that settles quickly. You'll have specific aftercare for your treatment area.
What to expect
45 to 60 minutes including the blood draw. Mild soreness afterward, like a light sunburn if microneedled.
Results and downtime
Gradual improvement over 4 to 8 weeks. Best results come from a series of 3 sessions. Redness for 24 to 48 hours when combined with microneedling.
Who it suits, and who it doesn't.
PRP is safe for most people because it's autologous, but it isn't the answer for every concern, and results depend on realistic expectations.
A good fit if
- You have early to moderate hair thinning and want to slow or improve it.
- You have crepey under-eye skin or overall loss of skin quality.
- You prefer a treatment with nothing synthetic in it.
- You can commit to a short series, usually three sessions.
- You understand results build over months, not days.
Not the right treatment for
- Advanced hair loss where the follicles are long gone. PRP can't revive what isn't there.
- Anyone wanting an overnight change.
- Certain blood disorders, or medications that affect platelets.
- Active infection or skin disease in the treatment area.
- Anyone unwilling to complete the series. One session rarely does it.
Common questions.
Usually a series of three, spaced about a month apart, then occasional maintenance. One session on its own rarely delivers a lasting result.
Because PRP uses your own blood, there's no risk of allergic reaction to a foreign product. We screen for blood conditions and medications first, and process everything under sterile technique.
The draw feels like any routine lab draw. The application is a series of small injections or micro-channels, with numbing used where it helps. If it's microneedled in, expect a light sunburn feeling afterward.
Gradually, over four to eight weeks, with the biggest change arriving after the series is complete. PRP rebuilds tissue rather than filling it, and rebuilding takes time.
Because the change is your own tissue, it doesn't wear off on a product schedule. Most people book maintenance once or twice a year, based on how their tissue responds.
It depends on what's making the area read as tired. A hollow that needs volume is a filler conversation. Crepey, thin skin over the hollow is what PRP improves. Some people benefit from both, staged, and your consult will tell you which you are.
