Booking, and what happens when plans change.
A $100 consultation fee is charged to the card on file at the time of booking. The fee is applied toward your treatment. A no-show, or cancellation within 24 hours of the appointment time, results in forfeiture of the consultation fee. If you sit down for your consultation and decide this isn't for you, 50% of the fee is refunded to your original method of payment.
Medical services require proper time and attention. Arriving more than 15 minutes late is treated as a no-show and the consultation fee is forfeited. We're glad to help rebook your appointment for a time that works better.
Consultation fees are waived for members. The no-show and cancellation policies still apply — any fee is charged to your card on file, never to your Aether Wallet.
Memberships, and money that stays yours.
All memberships require a minimum six-month commitment. Billing runs on the same date each month to the card on file. Member pricing and perks apply while the membership is active. If you cancel mid-cycle, you keep your perks through the end of that billing cycle. Cancellation requests can be made in person or online through your account. Unused Aether credits expire twelve months from membership cancellation.
Perks are yours personally. They don't transfer to a friend, and they don't convert to cash.
What you pay, and what we can refund.
No two treatments are the same — services are personalized to you. At your consultation, we'll give you a clear picture of your estimated total cost based on the units, syringes, or sessions needed to reach your goals.
Payment is due at the time of service. We don't bill insurance, because none of this is medically necessary.
Once a treatment has been performed, we can't refund it. Skin responds differently from person to person, and results depend on more than technique. What we can do is follow up: neurotoxin and injectable results are re-evaluated at two weeks, free of charge, and anything uneven or under-dosed is corrected then. Unused sessions from prepaid packages are non-refundable.
Who we can treat, and who we can't.
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, certain medications, and certain medical conditions rule out particular treatments. Your provider reviews your health history before anything happens and will tell you plainly when the answer is no. We would rather lose a booking than take one we can't do safely — the same reason every service page here publishes who a treatment doesn't suit.
All clients must be 18 or older. We ask for a government-issued ID at your first visit.
Consent, and the record we keep.
Before any treatment, you'll receive a consent form for that specific service. It covers what the service is, what it does, and the ways it can go wrong. Ask your provider about anything that isn't clear — we never rush any stage of your treatment, least of all your consultation.
Your chart and clinical photos are medical records. Copies are yours whenever you ask. We follow HIPAA guidelines for all of your personal medical information.
Your photographs, and where they go.
We photograph the treatment area at nearly every visit. Same light, same angle. It's the only honest way to tell whether something worked, and it's how we catch the difference between a real result and a good day in flattering light.
Those photographs are clinical records first. A marketing release is a separate piece of paper, and you can withdraw it whenever you want. Withdrawing it changes nothing about your care or your pricing.
Some of the before-and-after photographs on this site came from device manufacturers' clinical libraries rather than from our treatment rooms. Where that's true, it says so under the image. Those patients were treated on protocols that may not match yours, and individual results vary.
Texts, email, and how to stop them.
Booking signs you up for appointment reminders and treatment follow-up by text and email. Reply STOP to any text to end the reminders. Message and data rates apply.
Marketing email is a separate choice. Unsubscribe from the footer of any newsletter and your appointment reminders keep arriving normally. We don't sell your contact details, and we don't hand them to anyone else to use.
What this website knows about you.
The site is built and hosted on Framer. When you fill in the opening list form we collect your name and email, and we use them to tell you when we open and what's available. That's the entire purpose.
Health information you share with a provider is handled under medical privacy rules, separately from anything the website collects. To see, correct, or delete what we hold about you, call 240-292-1398 or write to us at info@aetheraesthetics.biz.
What this site is — and what it isn't.
Everything here is general information about the treatments we offer; it is not medical advice. Treatment descriptions and timelines describe typical outcomes. Your personal goals and expectations are reviewed at your consultation.
Prices and the service menu can change. The version quoted at your consultation is the one that counts. The Aether Aesthetics name, logo, writing, and photography on this site belong to Aether Aesthetics, LLC. All rights reserved.
Terms of Use.
1. Acceptance
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Aether Aesthetics website (the “Site”), operated by Aether Aesthetics, LLC (“Aether,” “we”). By using the Site you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.
2. The Site is information, not medical advice
Everything on the Site is general information about the treatments we offer; it is not medical advice, and reading it does not create a provider-patient relationship. Treatment descriptions and timelines describe typical outcomes, and individual results vary. Your personal candidacy, goals, and expectations are established only at an in-person consultation with a licensed provider. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something you read here. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
3. Pricing and services
Prices and the service menu can change without notice. The version quoted at your consultation is the one that counts, and written quotes hold for 60 days from the consultation date. Booking, cancellation, membership, and refund terms are stated in our Policies and in the documents you sign; those terms govern your appointments.
4. Intellectual property
The Aether Aesthetics name, logo, writing, photography, graphics, and design of this Site belong to Aether Aesthetics, LLC. All rights reserved. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them commercially without our written permission. Limited personal, non-commercial viewing is permitted.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to interfere with the Site's operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or harvest data, submit false information through our forms, or use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
6. Third-party services
The Site is hosted on Framer and may link to third-party services, including booking, payment, and social platforms. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, which we do not control.
7. Before-and-after images
Some before-and-after photographs on the Site come from device manufacturers' clinical libraries rather than our treatment rooms; where that is true, the caption says so. Patient photographs appear only under a signed, revocable media release. Individual results vary, and no image is a promise of outcome.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, and fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aether Aesthetics, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing in them alters our responsibilities to patients under the documents signed in the course of care.
9. Changes, governing law, and contact
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date; continued use after posting is acceptance. Maryland law governs, and any dispute is brought in the state or federal courts located in Maryland. Questions: info@aetheraesthetics.biz or 240-292-1398.
