Why I built Aether

I built Aether because I wanted a place I would feel comfortable sending my own family. That sounds simple, but it turned out to be the hardest brief I have ever written for myself.

For years I watched aesthetics become something done quickly and sold hard. Long menus of treatments, a different face behind the needle each visit, and a lot of promises that no honest provider can actually keep. People would leave a room unsure of what had been done to them or why. I understood the appeal of moving fast. I just did not want to practice that way.

So I started from the opposite end. A short menu, only the treatments I believe in and perform well, and a licensed medical provider doing the work rather than handing it off. Every visit begins with an actual exam, because a face at rest and a face in motion tell two different stories, and you cannot plan good work without reading both. I would rather do a few things exceptionally than a little of everything.

The part I care about most is continuity. The same provider should see you every time, because good aesthetic work is not a single appointment. It is a relationship that remembers what we did last time and builds on it. That is also why I would rather tell you honestly what a treatment can and cannot do than sell you a result I cannot guarantee. Nobody can promise you a face. What I can promise is a plan built from your anatomy, done carefully, and looked at again with you.

Aether is my answer to a question I kept asking as a provider: what would this look like if it were built around the patient instead of the schedule? This is what I came up with. I hope it feels different the moment you walk in.
